Falken Motorsports, one of the well-known names of the GT Championship series, have announced the plan to come up with an upgraded Porsche 911 GT3 R which will be competing in the current year’s VLN and Nürburgring 24 Hours event.

The upgraded Porsche 911 GT3 R gets various new features such as optimized aerodynamic set, wider wings, new splitter, double canards at the front and larger wing at the rear which helps to increase downforce.

The car also features larger cooling vents at both front and rear arches; new headlights which will obviously help to improve the visibility at night in the 24 Hours event, new wheels sets which are new 12 inch wide.

Surely 2013 will see a lot of excitement and fun at the race events and it would be worth seeing how the Falken team performs with their upgraded Porsche car.
