Carlsson CK63 RSR at Geneva Motor Show

by SpeedLux

Carlsson has made one of the most significant launches in the ongoing Geneva Motor Show which is Carlsson CK63 RSR. It is one of the most powerful cars offered by the company till date and is based on the CLS 63 AMG.

The car will feature 5.5 liter V8 twin-turbo engine which will have output capacity of 518 hp and 700 Nm of torque. But Caslsson has upgraded the engine performance through their tuning program to mind boggling 700 hp and 5700 rpm and 1000 Nm of torque between 2000 and 4500 rpm. The peak torque has been limited electronically to preserve the gearbox and drivetrain.

With this powerful engine the car can accelerate to 100 kmh in just 3.9 seconds and further 200 kmh in just 11.6 seconds and has a top speed of 340 kmh. The engine is connected to seven-speed transmission with additional thermostatically-controlled oil cooler which helps to lower air temperatures and mitigate the increased thermal load.
