We know what haters and detractors might say. People will say that an achievement in Nurburgring is really worthless since the driving variables constantly change from one day to another. Yes you have a point that different drivers will post different results just like one fast car to the next. Whatever you say, we really do not care.
What matters is how the car manufacturers will subject their latest creations to the grueling test at the Green Hell. As long as there are Nurburgring runs, there will be videos like the one below to make us drool and go ahhhh.
Yes, that is the new Ferrari 599XX breaking the seven minute barrier for the production cars by clocking in 6:58.16 on its second lap around one of the right of passage tracks in the world.
It is quite mesmerizing to see how the 700 horsepower prancing speed monster conquered the German tarmac. The V-12 sound was very melodious.
Ferrari really let the walk do the talk in this one unlike other carmakers who shout to the world about their record breaking feats.
We just hope you are not busy at work. You might want to pull back the bar and play the video once again. Just like you, we can not have enough of this.
After watching the video, checkout our gallery of the 599XX at the Beijing Motor Show.

In addition you are wrong Ron. This is not a street legal car so other carmakers can talk all they want, plus Radical SR8 has done it also!
