Four dead after car crash in Sierra, California

Four people including two adults and two children were killed in a wrong-way crash in Sierra, California on Saturday.

The crash took place around 4:45 a.m. near Eagle Lakes Road near Yuba Pass and Crystal Lake when a Jeep was driving the wrong way and caused a crash involving two other cars.

The four people who died in the crash were not inside the Jeep.

The crash resulted in the closure of eastbound Interstate 80 which was reopened after seven hours

The details of the crash are currently limited as the incident is currently being investigated by California Highway Patrol.
