4 killed after three-vehicle crash in DeForest, Wisconsin

Four people died following a three-vehicle crash on I-39 SB near DeForest, Wisconsin.

It was just after 10:00 p.m. on Thursday night when a Honda Van pulled over to help a driver who was in a Honda Civic on the side of I-39.

The van was pulling back into traffic when it was struck by two semis.

All four people in the van were killed.

The drivers in the semis were not injured.

Identities of the victims are yet to be released pending notification to their families.

I-39/90/94 southbound was closed at STH 60 for about three hours after the crash.

The crash is being investigated by Wisconsin State Patrol .
