Garner man tracks his phone to go after stolen car

A Garner man was able to go after his stolen car by tracking his phone overnight.

The man informed WRAL News early Saturday that he observed two men stealing his car from his apartment’s parking lot.

He happened to leave his keys, wallet, and cellphone in the car as he went inside his apartment to get something.

Using his girlfriend’s phone, the man was able to track his own phone and followed the car.

Police recovered the stolen vehicle, however not the phone, and arrested one person on White Oak Road.
