General Motors confirmed it will invest an extra $1 billion in its U.S. factories in 2017 and will relocate some parts production from Mexico to the United States that was formerly managed by a provider.
The financial investments remain in addition to the $2.9 billion the company revealed in 2016, automaker stated.
