Italdesign Giugiaro to Unveil New Concept at Geneva

The automaker that is known as the Italdesign Giugiaro has finally taken the liberty of releasing a teaser image to the public. In the official teaser image from the company, Italdesign Giugiaro kind of reveals that it is going to be present at one of the world’s biggest auto expo. In addition to that, it is also more than likely that the automaker in question is going to introduce a new concept vehicle during the expo, which will commence in under 2 weeks now.

Unfortunately, no one has managed to figure out the true identity of the upcoming concept car from the said automaker. Yet, just as a reminder, the automaker in question has actually released a number of concept cars that are always attractive and interesting for the past few years whenever a Geneva Motor Show event takes place. Take for an example the company’s Clipper MPV Concept that benefits from the MQB platform by Volkswagen. The car even features gullwing rear doors as well. The car gained its power from an engine which benefits from all-wheel-drive (AWD) drivetrain and a couple of electric motors. The total power output, when combined, reaches 299 hp.

Other examples of vehicles introduced by the Italdesign Giugiaro are the coupe and roadster variants of the Parcour. This one receives its power from a 5.2L V10 engine used by the Lamborghini Gallardo. Mated to a 7-speed automatic dual clutch transmission (DCT), the engine spits out 554 hp of power. Accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h takes the vehicle just 3.6 seconds.

Last but not least, taking a closer look at the official teaser image released by the Italdesign Giugiaro, it can be seen that the company is going to take the wraps off its latest vehicle on March 3, 2015, the moment the 2015 Geneva Motor Show welcomes the public.
