Moviegoers must have known well that James Bond movies are normally tied to very cool cars, with added technologies that always seem to have come from the future. For the next sequel to the aforementioned movie franchise, the protagonist, Agent Bond, will be counting on the Aston Martin DB10. Yet, as for the villains, they are also bound to have a pretty cool car this time. In this case, it is a Jaguar C-X75.
In case you have yet to notice, the Jaguar C-X75 is actually an 850 hp supercar that the British automaker has decided to cancel. With that being said, the mass out there will never get the luck to drive this particular vehicle model. Perhaps Jaguar cancels the production of the car because of the high price tag, a million pound.
It seems that choosing the C-X75 to be the villain car in the next James Bond movie is a good call by the people involved in the making of the said movie. Jaguar’s current tagline is ‘Good to be Bad’, a tagline that the company uses, too, for the launch campaign of the new Jaguar F-Type Coupe. In the campaign, the car is driven by British actors, all of whom act as the villains.
For those who wonder what kind of performance the British supercar can offer, the Jaguar C-X75 has a 5.0L supercharged engine with eight cylinders arranged in the V configuration.
However, this is not the first Jaguar used by the villains in the aforementioned movie franchise.
The Jaguar XJ8 and the Jaguar XJR was involved in the Casino Royale and the Jaguar XKR was involved in Die Another Day.
For the James Bond: Spectre, the upcoming sequel, Aston Martin, the vehicle brand designated for the main hero, uses a tagline that says, ‘Good to be Bond’, which clearly tries to imitate the tagline of its rival automaker. Only, the one from Aston Martin seems to stress out the involvement of the brand with the imminent James Bond title.
