Japan will describe the points regarding its auto market to U.S. President Donald Trump and look forward to his understanding, trade minister Hiroshige Seko stated on Tuesday.
Seko informed it was not yet decided whether he would accompany Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on his visit to United States to meet Trump on February 10.
During the meeting between Abe and Trump, US President is expected to seek fast progress towards a two-way trade deal with Japan and talk about the automotive sector.
