Koenigsegg uses metrology to certify the quality of its hypercars

Koenigsegg has partnered with Creaform, that makes 3D measurement technologies for the automotive industry, to streamline and enhance its quality control processes to production.

Koenigsegg Automotive AB, the Swedish producer of high-performance sports cars of high-performance cars incorporates portable metrology at various stages of their production procedure to improve general item quality.

Utilizing the MetraSCAN 3D laser scanner, HandySCAN 3D scanner and HandyPROBE portable CMM, the Koenigsegg group has the ability to set up jigs and components much quicker and receive quick feedback on the quality on the production line between units.
