Lamborghini and Reiter Engineering have confirmed that the Gallardo GT3 FL2 will compete in the 2013 and 2014 GT3 seasons.
The car is based on the 2013 Gallardo and is equipped with better brakes, engine cooling and lower fuel consumption.
It come fitted with a more efficient aerodynamic kit with a redesigned front splitter and also a rear carbon diffuser based on the diffuser developed for the Super Trofeo.
Compared to the previous model, this year’s version is 25 kg (55 lbs) lighter.
The Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 FL2 is priced at 320,000 EUR plus taxes. Sales are likely to begin in March in Europe and Asia.
It will also compete in the Asia Le Mans Series, Blancpain Endurance Series and the Italian GT3 Championship.
The Gallardo is a super cool car, tailor made for racing enthusiasts and not meant for usually for city ride. It is quite expensive and customers will have to loosen their purse strings if they want to be the proud owner of this racing machine.
There isn’t much information on the plate right now but as days pass by and as the car participates in one of the competitions, more data will spill out on the streets.
