by SpeedLux

The Chinese market is fond of long and sleak cars, so possibly they will like a bit of five-door coupe German automaker Mercedes Benz has reportedly begun testing their brand new CLS Shooting Brake model in China.

Recently a website recently carried pictures of the CLS undergoing testing there while with no camouflage on.

The Shooting Brake is likely to go on sale around the same time as it makes its debut at the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show.
The hot news is that just like the CLS four-door model, it will be an imported one.

Prices will start at about CNY800,000, which would come to $128,500 at today’s exchange rates.
Still, despite the high price tag there will no dearth of prospective buyers looking to buy the best German car with a big boot.

Detailed specifications and performance issues are still a mystery for the time being, but will be revealed when the model goes on sale this year.
