On September 30, the substitute of the Lamborghini Murcielago supercar will make its debut at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. All this while, this news has been on the rumor wheel. However, it has finally been revealed through an official announcement. This version of the super sports sedan is dubbed as Jota. Back in July the Jota was made available for viewing to the VIP customers and dealers. Experts and industry analysts, however, believed that the specs would be divulged only at the Paris Motor Show. It is also believed that the company at the Paris Motor Show will also officially announce the official name.
Let’s talk about the under the hood improvement in relation to the super sports vehicle’s engine. Experts from automobile industry maintain that the new car would certainly carry a powerful V12 engine. The V12 powerplant of the super sports car is capable of churning out over 700 hp of peak power. With this power the new Jota (the dubbed name) i.e. the successor of Lamborghini Murcielago could be driven at rocketing speed, sprinting from 0 km/h to 100 km/h which equates to over 62 mph in a lean 3.0 seconds window. Don’t be surprised if it takes lesser that since that’s not overtly impossible. Experts believe the V12 engine could easily permit the beautiful power machine to run at a maximum speed of at around 370 km/h which is equal to 230 mph. Experts also believe that the sport car run even faster if the electronic speed control is done away with in the vehicle.
With respect to the design, the new Jota, the super sport sedan, will definitely hold some style clues from the Reventon supercar. Industry experts believe that the new Jota is likely to be shorter than the current Murcielago. The new super sports car will no more have the popularly known Lambo doors. However, until it is officially confirmed, we will continue to doubt this, since these doors actually represent the identity of a Lamborghini supercar.
So stay tuned until we get to know about the official release of more details, as Lamborghini had just released only the teaser!
