Man dies in single-car crash in Morgan County, Indiana

One person died Monday in a single-car crash in Morgan County, Indiana, according to officials.

A 44-year-old man was heading north on Concord-Arenzville Road near Baseline Road about 9:30 p.m. when his car went off the road and into a ditch, traveling about 150 feet before striking a utility pole.

The driver, who is yet to be identified, died at the scene.

Morgan County sheriff’s deputies were helped by Arenzville and Chapin fire departments, Chapin Emergency Medical Services and Lifestar Ambulance with the incident. Investigation into the incident is ongoing.
