German tuners are known for their ability to add power to cars. Wimmer RD has made a Level 3 performance kit for the Mercedes Benz C63 AMG. The original car has a 6.3 liter V8 engine which gives an output of 457 hp and 600 Nm. The performance kit is supposed to boost this output to 580-horsepower and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque.

The existing engine, the V8 is a naturally aspirated one and therefore to add the extra power to this the tuners have had to resort to upgrading the systems and have also added a reprogrammed ECU, air filter from K&N, air induction optimization, a new sports catalyst and optimized cat-back all-stainless steel exhaust system

The top speed has been also adjusted by modifying the speed limiter, which is an electronic system thereby giving a new top speed of 305 kmph or 190 mph.

There is also the option of KW-Club Sport Suspension and high performance Dunlop Sport Maxx GT tires that the tuners offer its customers. All this at a cost of €9,900 (about US$13,800 at today’s rates) which includes installation charges as well.
