At the Nurburgring, the Pagani Zonda R, in a record-breaking run, broke the lately set record of the Ferrari FXX. For some people this has been a cake-walk considering the car had broken the record by over 11 second. However, those people who have been behind the scene responsible for this record-setting run it has not been a cake walk. The achievement of reaching is milestone has called for several hours of back breaking tireless research, hard work, and dedication on part of the automobile engineers of the company.
The viewer and the sports car lovers usually are amazed and overwhelmed by the flash, dynamism, and pizzazz of these types of record-setting runs. What they don’t see are the other side of the coin that requires huge amount research, development, and testing that plays a much more crucial function beyond common person’s imagination. Pagani, the Italian sports car manufacturer, has therefore, produced a mini documentary film that takes the viewer through, at length, behind the scene efforts and hard work in the development of the Zonda R.
Horacio Pagani, who is the founder of the Italian automobile brand, appeared pretty mesmerized with the success and has reportedly said, “The lap time of 6:47 that we have obtained with reasonable ease here at the Nürburgring is a confirmation of the skilled work behind every Pagani vehicle.” The result positively speaks for itself, isn’t it? After all, that painstaking labor of the engineers got highlighted to the world.
