A chopper was seen with a dangling car below it hovering in the Austrian Alps. Both the sight and the car were a mysterious couple. Speculation had it that the car was the new R4 from Audi which was however turned down by Autobild which said the car was the “Anniversario” which is a concept car from Audi. No one however could hazard a guess about the chopper slinging that car whichever it is.
The vehicle is being speculated in the German auto magazine as an edition model and to commemorate the Ur-Quattro sports coupe from the 1980s. The car looks to be built on a RS5 platform and the engine is expected to be a five cylinder turbo engine which in all probability has been taken from the Audi TT RS. Not much other detail about the car is available as of now.
The Paris Motor Show for sure would be displaying this mystery car and that is when curiosity would be whetted. That is not such a long wait anymore for it is just a few days away when the show to be held.
