The Italian automaker, Fiat, may have a surprise coming for its loyal customers. Only recently, someone had successfully managed to spot a successor to the company’s current Linea model. The car was caught on camera as it was undergoing some factory tests in its home country, Italy.
Just as a kind reminder, the Fiat Linea has actually been made available for sale ever since the year 2007. With that being said, it is high time the Italian marquee comes up with the next generation variant of the model. Thankfully, the company will reportedly launch the successor to its present Linea model sometime next year and the car is most likely set to go head to head with the Dacia Logan, Peugeot 301 and the likes of them. Now, if you remember correctly, back in November 2014, there was a report indicating that the model would eventually have its Linea moniker disposed of. This was reportedly due to the Italian company’s plan to integrate the model into its Bravo vehicle lineup. With that being said, it should not be a surprise if Fiat eventually calls the next generation Linea as the Bravo Sedan instead. It is also reported that a wagon version could be spawned as well to succeed the company’s Stilo MultiWagon model.
It is believed that these upcoming vehicle models are part of the Italian marquee’s massive investment, worth one billion Euros. The investment was recently made by a company known as Tofas, the Italian marquee’s joint venture from Turkey. As such, the upcoming Fiat Linea successor will most likely hit dealerships in Turkey as well, most likely in Bursa. Speaking of the next generation Fiat Linea, or the Bravo Sedan, it will allegedly use the Small Wide Architecture chassis that is also used by the Jeep Renegade-Fiat 500X tandem.
