The senior vice president for the global marketing of Fuji Heavy Industries, Nobuhiko Murakami, has been kind enough to spill the beans on what to expect from the next generation Tribeca model from the Japanese automaker, Subaru.
As reported by the Automotive News, quoting Murakami, the upcoming Subaru Tribeca will have to stand head to head against the likes of the Toyota Highlander, Nissan Pathfinder and also the Honda Pilot. As such, Murakami points out, the staffs and engineers in charge of the development of the new Tribeca model will have to think really hard about how they can make the offering from Subaru a better choice when compared to its aforementioned competitors.
So far, Murakami has not really disclosed complete details yet when it comes to the specification sheet that the car will be bringing along with it. Nonetheless, a number of media out there suspect that the next generation Tribeca will somehow look rather similar to the Subaru Outback, only with a larger body. Yet, if that does not happen, Subaru will most likely apply a completely new visual styling that will give the car a significantly distinctive appearance.
Murakami has also made an official confirmation that the vehicle will have no less than three rows of seats. Speaking of the seats, the company is reportedly still trying to figure out what kind of arrangement will best suit the car. In addition to that, Murakami also hints that the vehicle will be targeted more towards the customers from the land of America. Also, Murakami claims that the upcoming crossover from Subaru will have a more spacious cabin when compared to that of its predecessor.
