A 14-year old was killed and six others were injured after a car crash on Monday night in Palos Heights, Cook County, Illinois.

There were six teens in a Honda Civic traveling eastbound on College Drive near Ridgeland Avenue on Monday night. The crash took place when the driver lost control of the vehicle and went onto a grassy shoulder then crossed into the westbound lane. After that, the Honda crashed into Chevrolet Tahoe with just the drive inside.

Three female teenagers were found ejected from the car. A 14-year-old identified as Madison Harrison was admitted to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The five other teens and the driver of the Tahoe were also admitted to the hospital.

Palos Heights police investigated the crash.

A GoFundMe page has been opened for Madison Harrison to help her family with expenses.
