Poland vehicle production up 12.7 percent y/y in December

Poland’s car production increased 12.7 percent in December year on year and jumped 2.5 percent from November, industry monitor Samar stated on Thursday.

The market produced 51,425 cars and trucks during last month, Samar stated. Output for the entire year jumped 2.8 percent at 660,642, with cars responsible for for 86 percent and trucks for 14 percent of the overall.

Fiat, General Motors’ Opel division and Volkswagen have operations in Poland.
