The Porsche Panamera as a towing machine

by Alex

The most evident difference between driving in a family car and a sports car is the speed. While the sports car owner takes pride and joy in being able to zip about in his sports car, the family car owner has to settle with driving at speeds much slower. Now the car that zips also has the added power of being able to tow another car even if that car be the slow favorite family car of someone else.

There is evidence through the photograph that a Porsche Panamera is tugging along a Lotus Exige. This goes on to prove that the Porsche Panamera is indeed a powerful car.

The Panamera comes in two versions – with a V6 or a V8 engine. The power range of the car starts from 300 bhp going all the way up to 500 hp depending on the trim settings. For transmission the cars have a six speed gear box which is manual else a seven-speed Double-Clutch Gearbox (PDK). The Exige which the Panamera has been seen to be tugging along is fitted with a 1.8 liter engine developing 217 hp or 257 hp if it is the S version of the car. The Panamera therefore could be confirmed as a powerful car that can even pull a car of its own type as well.
