The well known Japan based, the automobile manufacturing division of Japanese transportation conglomerate Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI), Subaru recently pulled the wraps of its Pleo Plus, which apparently will begin its sale in the home market, beginning from 21st December.
The Pleo Plus is based on the Daihatsu Mira, and as part of the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) agreement with the Toyota subsidiary and the model is basically questioned to be a rebadged version of the Daihatsu mini, which in turn is expected to attract more customers into the brand in Japan, considering the fact that it’s a fuel efficient vehicle and the Subaru badges can be found on its body.

This unit has been fitted with regenerative braking system and the new start / stop system, which helps the model to consume 3.3 liters of fuel every 100 km (30 km per Liter / 70.5 mpg US).
The Pleo Plus, has been priced at 797,000 yen (7,500 EUR / 9,700 USD) for the two-wheel drive version while the all-wheel drive model is available from 1,097,500 yen (10,300 EUR / 13,300 USD).
