Three killed after car crash on I-475 in Georgia

Three people were killed after a single-car crash on I-475 in Georgia.

The crash took place on 475 southbound just south of the Thomaston Road bridge just after 2:00 p.m. Sunday.

A black Chevrolet SUV was traveling southbound and it went off the roadway and before crashing into a tree.

The vehicle was engulfed.

The three occupants of the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene.

They have been identified as a 41-year-old driver named Karen Gregory, and the passengers, which were her children, 19-year-old son Kyron Gregory and 10-year-old daughter Yahvi Gregory.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigated the crash.
