Three killed after car crash on Missouri highway

Three people were killed after a car crash on Saturday morning on Missouri Highway 22 and Highway Y.

Officials were notified of the crash at 2 a.m.

Upon arrival of the officials, they saw vehicles involved in the crash were engulfed.

The crash took place when a Buick was traveling westbound on Highway 22 and the Buick crossed the centerline causing a head-on crash with a Dodge car that was traveling eastbound.

Identities of the victims are yet to be provided.

Missouri State Highway Patrol investigated the crash.
