A car crash has left three people dead in Tulare County, California.
The crash took place in the area of Avenue 368 and Road 52 around 3:30 pm on Saturday afternoon.
Officials say a driver in a Chevrolet Camry was under the influence of alcohol when he suddenly veered throughout the center line into oncoming traffic.
The driver hit a minivan carrying two men and a woman head-on.
The men in the minivan died due to the crash. The woman was taken to hospital with major injuries.
After this initial crash, the Camry also hit a Chevrolet Tahoe with a family of five.
The man driving the Camry died in the crash as well. California Highway Patrol believes that he was under influence of alcohol.
Identities of the victims are yet to be released.
