Three people were killed and five others were injured after a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 in Luna County, New Mexico.
State police said, on Saturday night, they were called to a rollover crash on Interstate 10 at mile marker 68. When investigators arrived, they found a GMC Yukon with four people inside towing another Nissan SUV with four people inside that car had rolled.
State police said three people in the Nissan SUV were thrown from the car during the incident and died. The three who died were not wearing seat belts.
The driver of the Nissan and the four people inside the GMC were transported to the hospital. Their conditions were not known.
