Three killed, two injured after car crash on US-30 eastbound
Three people have died and two were injured after a car crash on US-30 and 800E on Wednesday near the Allen and Whitley County border.
About four vehicles were involved in the crash that shut down eastbound US30 near the Steel Dynamics building.
Officials urge drivers to look for an alternate route.
Eastbound travel was closed to traffic and backups were forming on slow-moving westbound lanes of US30.
The victims haven’t been identified as of yet.
Indiana State Police were assisting Whitley County Sherriff’s Department with the investigation.
