Two dead after car crashes with tree in Auburn
Two people were killed in a car accident in Auburn, Alabama on Saturday morning.
The crash took place at 4:22 a.m. when a Hyundai crashed with a tree at the intersection of Lake Avenue and Metcalf Drive.
The driver and the passenger of the car were pronounced dead at the scene.
The identities of both victims are yet to be released.
Lake Ave was closed for some hours while Auburn police investigated and cleared the scene.
