Two people died after a crash between a car and a truck on Wednesday afternoon.
The crash took place when a car and truck crashed head-on on Illinois Route 33 in Effingham.
The crash occurred at 3 pm right in the area of Woodlawn Cemetery and KCH Mechanical.
One of the vehicles drifted across the centerline which caused the head-on collision
The roadway closed due to the crash but was reopened by 6:45 pm.
One person was flown from the scene.
The crash is currently being investigated.
