Two people were killed in a car crash on Carrick Pike in southeast Scott County, Kentucky.
The Scott County Sheriff’s Office said the initial investigation shows the car hit another vehicle, lost control, veered off the road, and then hit a utility pole.
A driver and three passengers were inside the vehicle.
Two of the passengers died and the other two people in the car were admitted to the University of Kentucky Hospital. Their injuries were minor.
No injuries were reported in the other vehicle.
The names of the victims have not been revealed.
The sheriff’s office said speed could have contributed in the crash.
