Two killed after car crash kills on Bailey Avenue

Two people died after a head-on crash on Friday morning.

The crash took place when their pickup truck drifted into oncoming traffic on Bailey Avenue in San Jose.

The crash was reported at 10:13 a.m. east of Monterey Road near Highway 101.

The driver of a 1991 Chevrolet pickup truck was heading west on Bailey Avenue at the time when the truck entered the eastbound lanes.

Soon after, the truck struck into an eastbound 2019 BMW, killing a woman who was a passenger in the truck. The man driving the truck was admitted to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The man driving the BMW was injured and also admitted to a local hospital.

The man and woman who died were not identified as of yet.
