Two killed after car crash in Marathon County, Wisconsin

Two people died after a crash that resulted in shutting down of left lane of US 51 southbound Sunday.

The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. near Brokaw in Marathon County, Wisconsin.

According to the officials, a driver in one car rear-ended another car which had four passengers. That second car then rear-ended a third car having two passengers.

The two rear passengers in the second car, a 99-year-old woman and an 88-year-old man were declared dead at the scene.

No one else was injured in the crash.
