Two killed in a single-car crash in Whiteside County, Illinois

Two people were killed in a rollover accident during Friday morning just east of Fulton in Whiteside County, Illinois.

Whiteside County Deputies and Fulton Police were notified of a single-vehicle accident that took place at 9:15 am on Fulton Road/U.S. Route 136 just west of Sand Road.

According to the sheriff’s office, a black SUV was heading east when it left the road. It went into the ditch and rolled, taking both the driver and passenger out of the vehicle.

The Whiteside County Coroner declared both passengers dead at the scene. Their identities are not being revealed at this time.

The Whiteside County Deputies were helped by Fulton and Albany Police, Illinois State Police, and Fulton Fire and Ambulance.
