Two killed, two injured after car crash in Hillsboro

Two people were killed and two were injured after a two-vehicle crash in Hillsboro, Oregon on Thursday night.

The crash took place at about 7:40 p.m. when the individuals in a car turning out of the Sunset Square shopping center when another car, traveling at a high rate of speed southbound on 185th Avenue, struck them.

Both occupants were pronounced dead at the scene.

They have been identified as a 19-year-old named Adriana Shelton from Sheridan and a 20-year-old named Aaliyah Shelton from Beaverton.

The other vehicle had one of its occupants transported to a local trauma center for injuries. Another occupant ran from the scene.

Hillsboro Police Department is investigating the crash.
