Two killed, two injured after UTV crash in Clay Township, Ohio

Two people died and two others were injured following a UTV crash in Clay Township, Ohio on early Saturday morning.

The crash took place in the area of Pansing Road and Phillipsburg-Union Road around 12:40 a.m. when a Polaris RZR utility vehicle was moving eastbound through a field off of Pansing Road when it encountered a creek on the property. The vehicle traveled throughout the creek, striking the opposite bank.

Clayton Cooper, 25, of Phillipsburg, was the driver. He had non-life-threatening injuries.

Leah Scott, 20, of Lewisburg, was the passenger who suffered serious injuries and was admitted to Miami Valley Hospital by CareFlight.

Two additional passengers, identified as Bailey Watson, 21, of Englewood, and Madison Grow, 20, of Laura, died in the crash.

The crash is being investigated by Ohio State Highway Patrol.
