A vehicle crossed into the path of a semitrailer truck in Apple Valley, and both men in the smaller vehicle were thrown to their deaths, officials stated.
The collision took place at around 9 p.m. Friday on Pilot Knob Road south of County Road 42, police noted.
The truck driver was taken to a hospital with noncritical injuries, police stated.
Identities of the vehicles’ occupants are yet to be made public.
The car was going north on Pilot Knob when the driver lost control and crossed into the southbound lane and struck with the semi, a statement from police noted.
Damage to both vehicles was serious according to the police report.

This is why we need more light post in apple valley. I drive they there all the time at night and let me tell you it is really dark and scary I always drive with my high beams because it’s too dark. We need! More light posts!!! Now!!
