Two motorcyclists killed after crash in Titusville, Florida

Two motorcyclists, one male, and another female died in a crash that involved another vehicle in Titusville, Florida on Sunday afternoon.

The crash took place at the intersection of North Washington Avenue (US1) and the entrance of Parrish Medical Center, according to the Titusville Police Department.

Police said the initial investigation showed a motorcycle carrying a driver and passenger traveling north on US1 hit the driver’s side of a white BMW X5 as the driver tried a left turn from the Parrish Medical Center parking lot onto southbound North Washington Avenue.

The male motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene. The female motorcyclist was admitted to a local hospital but later succumbed to injuries.

The female driver of the BMW SUV was taken to a regional hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
