VinFast to build a $2 billion factory in North Carolina
Vietnamese automaker VinFast has chosen the U.S. state of North Carolina for building a multi-billion-dollar production facility for its new line of electric vehicles.
The automaker will build a manufacturing plant at Triangle Innovation Point. It is estimated to be a 2,150-acre “megasite” in Moncure.
Earlier in November 2021, the automaker had announced an investment of $200 in California.
