Crossovers & SUVs overtake sedans

Crossover and SUV deals have now surpassed sedan deals in the United States.

As per information provided by IHS Automotive, crossovers and Suvs now represent 36.5 percent of the U.S. light-vehicle business sector while cars are close behind at 35.4 percent. The report just variables in retail enrollments through May of 2014 however drift has been clear for a long while.

While a ton of models served to push the hybrid and SUV portion to the top, the report credits fresher entrances, for example, the Jeep Cherokee, Nissan Rogue and Chevrolet Tahoe/ GMC Yukon for driving deals. The pattern will probably proceed as a mixture of automakers have effectively declared arrangements to offer more modest and more affordable crossovers in the future.
