New Details Emerge on the 2014 Subaru BRZ Turbo

by SpeedLux

If the reports are to be believed then Subaru is currently working on a turbocharged direct-injection version of its 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine found in the BRZ.

The System will be featuring a engine that would be capable of 280 hp and 250-plus pounds-feet of torque. The BRZ would be using a single twin-scroll turbocharger developed in-house and a straight direct-injection system, rather than the one found in Toyota’s DI/port-injection system.

STI(Subaru Tecnica International) will launch a range of performance parts for the BRZ that would arrive most likely in 2014. Until then click through the pictures and stay tuned for more information.
