2 dead, 1 injured after car crash near International Plaza in Tampa

Two people were killed and another one was injured in an afternoon crash near International Plaza in Tampa, Florida on Tuesday afternoon.

According to officials, a Nissan Frontier had been traveling northbound on Manhattan Avenue, crossing Boyscout
Boulevard when it was hit by a Jeep that was traveling westbound on Boyscout Boulevard.

The driver and passenger of the Nissan were killed due to the crash.

The driver of the Jeep was taken to hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

Officials say the westbound lanes of Boyscout Boulevard are closed until at least till 8 p.m.
