2 killed and 2 injured after car crash in east Orange County

Two men died and two children were injured on Wednesday after a car crash at Curry Ford Road and Cypress Springs Parkway in east Orange County.

The crash took place around 6:10 p.m. when a 2016 Toyota SUV was heading north on Curry Ford Road and a 2021 Ford F150 pickup truck was traveling south on Curry Ford Road.

The Toyota is said to be speeding that it lost control of the vehicle before traveling through the grass median and into the southbound lanes.

The left front of the Toyota hit the front left of the Ford F150, resulting in the Ford overturning, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The driver of the Ford F150, a 37-year-old man from Orlando, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Toyota, a 26-year-old male, was admitted to the hospital, where succumbed to his injuries.

Two passengers in the Ford, a 17-year-old female, and a 5-year-old boy, were admitted to the hospital for minor injuries.
