Two people were killed after a driver crashed into a building in Kansas City on Sunday night.
Kansas police witnessed a car speed by them.
That car struck a building nearby at 3101 Troost Avenue around 11 p.m. and then engulfed.
Officers tried to put out the fire but had no success
When the officials put out the fire they found two people dead inside.
The affected building belongs to the charity Thelma’s Kitchen.
It was shut for renovations when the crash took place.
