2 killed and 2 injured after car crash in Elizabethtown

Two people died and two others are injured, including a child, following a car crash near the Elizabethtown Country Club in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

The crash took place at the intersection of Hodgenville Road and Thoroughbred Road at about 4:30 p.m. 

The first car with two adult passengers and a child was traveling east on Hodgenville Road when a driver in his 30s struck it head-on.

The two adults in the first car died due to the crash but it was not clear if they died at the scene or were taken to the hospital.

The child in the car was flown to Norton Children’s Hospital.

The second driver was taken to Baptist Health Hardin.
