2014 Chevrolet SS not to be sold in Canada

General Motors has finally decided that the 2014 Chevrolet SS will not be sold in Canada.

GM has not given the reason for such a abrupt decision but it’s clear that its rear-wheel-drive sedan will not be offered in Canada. It is also been reported that the car won’t be launched in Israel either. It will be the United States which will get the car later this year.

On offer is a 6.2-liter V8 engine rated at about 415 hp (309 kW) and 415 lb-ft (562 Nm) which would be sufficient for a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in around 5 seconds. The engine is attached to a six-speed automatic transmission with TAPshift paddles. Other amenities include Brembo brakes, MacPherson strut front, multi-link independent rear and sporty-optimized electronic power steering.

So its final that the car will not be offered in Canada but the same will be introduced in the US later this year.
