Dacia has recently disclosed additional details and images with the 2014 Duster facelift which premieres at IAA in Frankfurt.
The most important change in this facelifted version is the inclusion of a more powerful 4-cylinder, 1.2-liter TCe 125 gasoline engine which will be mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. It provides 90 percent of the maximum torque from 1,500 rpm and enables the model to have a fuel consumption of just 6 liters / 100 km (39.2 mpg US or 47 mpg UK).
Talking about the interiors, the cabin has gone through a major overhaul and as expected it was carried over from the second-gen Logan/Sandero with minor changes. Upper-spec models come fitted with the MEDIA NAV infotainment system which provides support for a Bluetooth connection. The electric window controls have been now moved from the center dashboard to the doors, with the ones on the driver’s side benefiting from one-touch mode. Also now there are four new upholstery options (including leather), redesigned seats and a reinforced rear bench seat back.
The 2014 Dacia Duster facelifted model will be offered with an “Adventure” exterior pack that has flared wheel arches and door-sill protectors, along with an “Off-road” pack which brings satin chrome side bars and a bull bar.
