Honda has recently announced the pricing of the 2014 Accord Hybrid in the United States.
Set to go on sale on Halloween (in October), the model will come with a base price of $29,155 (plus $ 790 destination charges). The entry-level model comes fitted with alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights and a LaneWatch blind spot monitor. The sedan also has features like dual-zone automatic climate control, a rearview camera and a 160-watt AM/FM/CD audio system with Bluetooth/USB/iPod connectivity.
Higher up there is EX-L variant which kicks off from $31,905 and comes with additional heated leather front seats, a power moonroof, a HondaLink connectivity system, Forward Collision Warning (FCW) and Lane Departure Warning (LDW) systems.
The range-topping Touring variant starts off from $34,905 and comes fitted all the aforementioned equipment and there are additional features that include GPS navigation, Adaptive Cruise Control and LED headlights with blue tinted chrome bezels.
Regardless of whichever model is selected, all of them come fitted with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder Atkinson-cycle engine which is backed up by a 166 hp (124 kW) electric motor. This setup enables the model to return fuel economy of 50 mpg city / 45 mpg highway / 47 mpg combined (for US).
