The Audi TT is starting to show its age and has become an old age model now and so now new details are starting to emerge about the next-generation model.

According to Car & Driver, the 2015 Audi TT will ride on Volkswagen’s MQB platform and will also come with a stylish design which will recapture the spirit of the original model. The car is also expected to have a more traditional cabin with a digital instrument cluster.

Details about engines are not available but the choices may consist of a turbocharged 2.0-liter unit with output of 220 HP (162 kW) and 300 HP (221 kW) in the TTS. The TT-RS is expected to make a come-back to the lineup with an upgraded five-cylinder engine that will be able to dish out 380 HP (279 kW) which is 20 HP (15 kW) more than the range-topping TT-RS Plus.

The coupe is expected to go on sale in later half next year and will be followed by a convertible a year later in 2015.
